SM 500 FFA

It is a product formulated based on filming and neutralizing amines, capable of forming a monomolecular film on the metallic surfaces favouring its passivation and avoiding, in this way, both corrosion and the formation of incrustations. Due to its content of volatile components, the product is also able to protect the condensate line.

• • All organic. Does not increase the salinity of the water.
  • Able to separate existing incrustations on metallic surfaces, which are removed by purging. Cleans old tanks.
  • The protective film does not affect thermal transfer, while keeping surfaces clean.

Application Areas

Steam generation systems with low and medium pressure pyrotubular boilers (up to 20 bar).

Instructions for use

The application of the product must be carried out after the degasser or in the boiler feed tank (condensate tank) by means of a dosing pump.

Initial dose: 170 gr/m3.

Maintenance dose: 70 - 170 gr/m3.

To carry out the in-line cleaning of present incrustations, start the treatment with 25 % of the necessary dose, increasing it very slowly and progressively, until reaching 100 % of the dose. An increase in the purge rate is required to remove deposits and prevent clogging of the line and bleeder valve.
