PROCESO DE LOS LÍQUIDOS PENETRANTES

SM PENETRANTE ROJO is a red penetrating liquid that contains pigments, solvents and inhibitors in its formulation. Type II according to ISO 3452-2.

Appearance: Red liquid.

Applications: It is used in the inspection of welds, in casting or forging parts and in the detection of pores.

ECOSOL (Eliminating Solvent) is a colorless liquid composed of non-halogenated and non-aromatic solvents. For method C, (class 2 non-halogenated) according to ISO 3452-2. Appearance: Colorless, rapidly evaporating liquid.

Applications: Used as an eliminator in the detection process of penetrating liquids. It is recommended to remove red penetrating Sm, using rags soaked in Ecosol.

SM REVELADOR BLANCO is a liquid formulation, based on a dispersion of a white solid in non-halogenated and fast evaporating solvents.

Appearance: White dispersion. Forms according to ISO 3452-2.

Applications: Used in the inspection of welds, in the penetrating liquid process. Two or three layers are used to obtain a continuous film.

Instructions for use

1. Adequately clean the surface to be inspected, eliminating all types of contaminants.

2. Apply SM PENETRANTE ROJO and leave for about 5 minutes.

3. Eliminate the excess red Sm-Penetrant with Ecosol eliminator and remove with rags.

4. Apply the developer (1 layer) and let it act for 5 minutes.
